Living in the Burgh has been many things to many people but most of us who have been here for any length of time, know it to be a great community. We can keep it that way through your participation and involvement. We need folks who will step up to the plate and pitch in a little of their time toward this end. You need not be an "activist" or an outgoing public figure, ...just a fellow neighbor who wants to keep the quality of life at a decent level for ourselves and for our children. It won't take great feats to accomplish this....just a little concern and awareness of what is going on around us. Many of us have adopted the new age philosophy of "closing the blinds" to the things that upset us and then we complain how bad things have become with CRIME, and DISREPAIR, and the general lack of respect that some folks have for their own home town. Together...( I know that sounds cliche'....) but really....together we can make things better.
